The trees for this extra virgin olive oil are cultivated at a high altitude and with techniques that regenerate soil and nature. The olives go directly from the organic and regenerative farmers of Granada’s highlands to the mill and their oil goes from there straight to your table.

Hábitat is a farming cooperative that intends to bring high quality extra virgin olive oil to the market, to guarantee their agricultural producers a fair payment for their crops and to make sure that the production model is regenerative for soil and landscape.
Nutritional value:
A recent study from the University of Jerash in Jordan has found that olives cultivated at a higher elevation produce higher quality oils.
Our oil contains a greater proportion of unsaturated to saturated fatty acids, especially oleic acid, which is considered to be the principal and most important acid in the composition of olive oil. Furthermore it contains substances with antioxidant properties which are beneficial to your health as they contribute to reducing cholesterol, helping to prevent cardiovascular disease or reducing heartburn.
